Chapter Meeting Info

General membership meetings are usually held the second Monday of each month from 7-9pm.  Our meetings are held at our new office space located in Keller Williams Realty Office at 5001 Perkiomen Avenue, Exeter Township. (Rt. 422)

We do not have a meeting in July or December.

 

Please let us know if there is a topic that you would like us to have at an upcoming meeting. We would appreciate any input from our members!

Family Activities

The Autism Society of Berks proudly offers Family Activities throughout the year. Please look at the calendar of events for exact event information and dates. We realize it is hard for families affected by autism to enjoy community outings on a regular basis, so it is our hope that our members will get out together to enjoy some of what our local community has to offer.


Family Activities are sponsored (paid for) by the Autism Society of Berks, unless otherwise noted.

Our family events are limited to those families residing in Berks County.  All children MUST be accompanied by an adult to participate and  you must RSVP to each activity due to limited space availability. We will strive to accomodate every family that RSVPs. For any questions on the family events, you can contact the events coordinator by email or call us at 610-736-3739.

7/10/2009 7:00 PM Teen Event

This is an outing for teens on the spectrum. (ages 13 - 18 )
The group will be meeting at Gasser\'s Golf at 7pm.  ASA Berks will pay for one round of mini golf and and an ice cream cone.  Other expenses are your responsibility.

9/13/2009 9:00 AM Help Solve the Puzzle: Walk for Autism Awareness

We will hold our annual Walk for Autism Awareness at the Berks Country Heritage Center on Sunday, Sept. 13th!  More details coming soon....
10/18/2009 2:00 PM Family Event

Join us for our annual train ride at Kempton Railroad.  ASA Berks rents private train cars for our families!  The train leaves PROMPTLY at 2pm, so arrive a little early or you will miss it!

11/7/2009 2:00 PM Family Event

Join us for a private pool rental at Aquabilities in Blandon.  (please note: we are meeting in Blandon this time, instead of the Birdsboro location)

Our annual holiday party will be held at the Muhlenburg Community Library again.  More details to follow...
