We realize that due to the challenges families face with autism it is often difficult to enjoy regular outings in the community.  The Autism Society of Berks proudly offers family events throughout the year. The purpose of our family events is to enable families to enjoy these activities in a welcoming and understanding environment with less sensory stimulation.  It gives families an opportunity to try things that they may otherwise not be able to do, such as going out to a movie.

Family events are for ASA Berks family members.  Due to space, we must limit family events to individuals with autism and their immediate family members.  However, if an individual with autism needs the assistance and support of an extra adult or BSC/MT/TSS, they may attend with the family.

Family Activities are sponsored (paid for) by the Autism Society of Berks, unless otherwise noted.

ASA Berks family events are limited to those residing in or attending school in Berks County.  All children MUST be accompanied by an adult to participate and you must RSVP to each activity due to limited space availability. We will strive to accommodate every family that RSVPs.
